1999 Marked Pajero's second full model
change. With a new body design, engine range, and improved
maneuverability. This model also featured a new high-rigidity monocoque
body with built in frame and independent 4-wheel suspension giving
dramatically improved safety and stability.
The vehicle also features the SuperSelect II 4WD system which
dynamically selects the most appropriate drive mode for the driving
conditions.
With 3.2L diesel and 3.5L petrol engine options, 3 and 5 door body
options, five or seven seats, and 5 speed manual or tiptronic automatic
gearbox, there is a Pajero to suit all needs.
